How You Can Help
You can help by joining one or both of our volunteer groups that are a great asset to the nursing home.
We have a group of volunteers known as "The Blue Birds" who come and serve coffee, juice, or supplements to our residents. The Blue Birds Group also sponsors many of our parties, such as Valentines, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas parties bringing cakes or pies to share with the residents.

The other organization is the "Boggy Bayou Festival Inc." This group sponsors a spring festival each year on the 1st full weekend of April, and the proceeds are for the nursing home. The Festival has given over $300,000.00 to the nursing home over the past 20 years ! This is a 3 day fun filled weekend of entertainment for the entire family including music, games, carnival rides, arts & craft booths.
